I notice you use this kind of composition a lot, juxtaposing two parts or sides of one thing, and it works great. These are kind of unsual things to photograph, and from really creative angles. They work really well together. Great job.

wow. oh my gosh. that is such a very nice and enthusistic comment , i just woke up and this had really brightened my day - i'm going to make sure to stay this happy and do you justice <3 teeheehee. these pictures were just random shots as i sat on our porch waiting for a friend to show up. i couldn't even see what i was shooting since they are of myself - but these two flukes really stood out and together. i guess it's true : opportunity is when luck meets preparation. happy to say i managed to seize those moments. and yes , i'm fourteen. i just started taking photography more seriously when i signed up for dev , so , to be exact - on may 26th. i still have a lot to learn but i am fueled by kind people such as yourselves willing to take the time to give feedback -whether negative or positive- on the pictures i've taken. THANK YOU SO MUCH <3

Oh, wow. That's a freakin' awesome diptych! Seriously though, at first glance it looks like one picture.. but then it's like whoah.. hah. I don't actually have much time to comment right now but these somehow resonate really well together, and they fit perfectly.. not in a forced way at all. I can't think of a cooler diptych that i've seen, off the top of my head..
I know that's not super constructive but, bah, way cool. The textures also complement each other. The left photo really pops out.. I like the crisp focus. The color.. and how the composition repeats in each picture (but not rigidly, as befits the content) and also flows between the two, with a degree of smoothness that roughly matches the flavor of the composition.
