Description she's afraid that when he leans on her,
she'll crumble, bones to dust,
so light they enabled her to fly,
earth above ground.

her luck is sinking,
the ocean floor has the table set,
fine china and silverware for eight,
he's her friday the thirteenth.

and like a fisherman,
he'll harvest salty silver,
while the stars we so often wished upon
explode, dying, into the sky.

they rain down like tears.
he refuses to hold her one last time.

this is how their fairytale really ends.
