This Septimus seem to be a little manipulative and can easy take control on those who wield the axe, mortals and even gods. And he is going to try to control Vile once again.
But i have this feeling that it will be hard for Septimus to manipulate/take control over pure hearted Kesh if he had the axe.

Also. Septimus does have a point. But. He’s also an idiom that prefers to temp instead of help like Nephima which makes his tactics weaker and more vulnerable.I think that’s her name or something close to it. The talking of his can just peeve off Vile fast and then we cot an angry bean wielding an axe wanting to chop him up in rage. Septimus, you better watch your cords or your weapon is going to end up broken beyond repair from Vile. It’ll also take you down with it.

ooh! very nice bottom of the page. What did he say? I need to know!! Vile's pose was almost as ridiculous as Steven's on page 220 XD
If you need help, just ask! (that's what you did, but you can ask in journals and stuff, too) How about... Miyako goes to find her father anyways after her mother told her no? Or she could meet her brother later in the plot line. That would be interesting. Especially if her brother is a Necromancer, too. (i love her power!!)
