dang that's a pretty awesome transition effect for the flashback. Also I'm glad to see Hero was able to calm down enough and be able to have a calm discussion with Notch.
Although there is still the pressing matter of the chaotic entity slowly bleaching the entire world white but at the same time I guess this is the perfect time to get everything off one's chest so to speak.
Also they all look so hecking adorable as youngsters but particularly Vile. I imagine Hero is going to be even more adorable though. Also also, interesting and rather ironic that Vile is holding Hero's core protectively back then and now the roles are reversed. Though I'm sure that was intentional but still, I can't imagine what Hero's thinking and feeling about that.

I mean I am a Notch fan, I really am, but if you all or going to put aside the fact that this scene comes after Notch gaslighted Cat into breaking up to form Vile and Hero we are gonna need to throw hands Notch cares for his sibling(s) but he has historically let his own fear trump his love for them - allowing them to suffer greatly by his own action or lack thereof. If I was Notch I would let Hero take a swing or two at you. If he honestley still cares for you he will not kill you. Probally.

Sorry I just didn't expect us to get tiny Vile. He's so adorable! And I guess this also confirms that Gods age? Or have some form of aging? Or maybe it's just the less powerful the Gods are, the more they obey mortal laws? And did Notch just call Vile by the name Victor?
Anyways, looking forward to this flashback!

Ok, on one hand there is the cuteness, the whole "trust" between older siblings to watch over their younger sibling, and how Notch is sharing hint of his own past with them...
But am I the only one that also is horrified by the level of pressure that Notch is shoving at Vile here?
He's giving him the core of their smaller sibling, to keep safe. He's pushing an insane amount of responsibilities on (what looks like) a child. And then instead of being there to help Vile through it, he goes off to work. A subtle tell that to him his brothers are less important than his work is...
I dunno, that might be just me, but this page... it gives me bad vibes...

Possible, but taking care of a little brother on your own is very different from taking care of a puppy or cat, not to mention much more difficult.
Also, if tiny Vile messes up in taking care of Hero, it would have serious consequences... and maybe it did have serious consequences, if Hero's future actions are anything to go off of.
