Steve having to be the voice of reason again, Cat clearly has some problems and it's going to take time to heal them.

But frankly while I feel bad for him, he needs to cool it. Things may not change instantly, things may not get better just through one talking. But rather than yelling and getting mad and fighting, they need to vent and finally get it off their chests. Notch thinks he's right in his mind, but didn't know just how deep the cut ran, and people often who find out just how mean they can be, it can be shocking.

I used to be a bully, wasn't ever sure until later just how harsh my words were to people. I've since made peace with it, having apologized to the man who was supposed to have been my friend, and who I hurt worse than anyone. It was shocking he wasn't more angry with me, and honestly was very forgiving. 

We all like to think Notch as the evil one, but I can relate to him somewhat. I was alot like him growing up, not really knowing just how deep of cuts I made on people until I got older and finally opened my eyes. My want to fit in and makes friends was honestly bigger then my fucking common sense! After losing the person who I thought was my friend, it really made me take a step back and see the damage I had done. Then realize I truly was all alone again.

I think Notch is in the stage now, he's finally removing his ego and self from the situation and seeing just how far his ignorance to the pain reaches. I know it doesn't get better instantly, too me forever to regain the trust of those after all I did. But I did, and I'm honestly a better person for it. The first part, which he's already done, is seeing you've done wrong, the next is admitting to it. Don't expect them to forgive you, but at least be willing to try to be better. 
This is why I've never really hated Notch as much as others who want to see him split like Cat was. I don't think Notch deserves that, his punishment is already in affect, he no longer has there trust from his family he once did. Hero and Vile, and Cat, will never be as willing to talk to him as they once were. Notch, for all reasons, really is all alone. And that honestly is the worst feeling in the world. At least Hero, Vile, and sometimes Cat, had each other and later many others, Notch only has himself.

Cat... oh yikes... you just feel worse for him every page.

I'm glad Steve heard them though! Even if I did kinda wanna see Cat attack... with that hella awesome scythe of his. It looks so cool.

Still, Notch was glowing. Whether that's because he was starting a counter-attack, or going to split into his own two people(which would be cool to see), or something else entirely, I don't know.

Enjoying this immensely nonetheless.
