Don't call him Adrian, he will ignore you if you do. He goes by his last name, Grimm.

Grimm is a bit of a quiet type with a stare that could chill someone to the bone. He tends to keep himself guarded and has a somewhat cold yet chaotic front he puts up. It's not too hard to break past that facade though. Under it, he's honestly a pretty sweet and kind person. He won't admit to it, but the front he puts up is a bit of a defense mechanism for personal reasons.

Grimm doesn't want people to have high expectations of him, so he tries to come off as a reckless idiot.

Though, that front seems to slowly deteriorate around people he finds attractive or just anyone he finds cool in all honesty. It's hard to actually be deemed cool/attractive in his eyes. If you manage to gain that coveted title then you definitely earned it.

If he actually talks to and tries to befriend someone, his social skills are passable. He can strike up conversations without too much issue and while he stumbles over his own words sometimes he manages.

Though flirting is something he struggles with. The man is about as romantic as a wet noodle and if he were to even try flirting in any manner he'd likely crash and burn the first few times. He's a fumbling dork when it comes to anything romance related, but with time and practice he'd get the swing of it.

Adrian Grimm was born and raised Icirrus City in the Unova Region. In his youth, he was extremely close with his cousin Nyx Grimm who is 3 years older then him. They were practically attached at the hip, though their bond grew strained as Grimm got into his early teenage years.

Adrian started to get mixed into bad crowds and let them influence him and how he acted. He went from a kind and caring young boy and to a full blown delinquent over the course of a single summer. His friend group didn't always do very legal things. They'd steal, vandalize buildings, get in fights, the list goes on. It wasn't the best crowd for a young impressionable boy to be around but no one really tried to stop Adrian.

Slowly over time, Adrian stopped coming home all together. His family reported his sudden disappearance to the authorities. They investigated the city, searching for the lost teenager. In their search, they found the remnants of a fight. It just seemed like a scuffle occurred until they found a body. Further investigation found Adrian's finger prints and traces of his hair on the man's clothes.

The trail left by the frantic teen lead them to Driftveil City. Though the trail unfortunately went cold. He had fled not only Icirrus City, but Unova itself. Running to the closest port town and stowing away on a ship that was headed for Kanto. He proceeded to region hop. Simply getting by with the bare minimum before landing in Alola.

Exhausted and tired of running, he settled down there. Being recruited by Team Skull shortly after his arrival and holing up with them in Po Town. It was there that he changed himself entirely. Cutting and dying his hair, new clothing choice, even going by a new name. And that's where he stayed for two years. Making a few life-long friends and forming new bonds. He'd found himself a new family. A place where he belonged.

Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. Adrian got wind that his cousin, Nyx, was in town. Looking for him. In an attempt to avoid his past, he scraped together enough money to get out of the region as fast as possible. He could only get together enough to get himself and his Sableye out of there. With a heavy heart, he left his Pokemon with Team Skull and shipped off to the budding region of Elysia.
