Chris was born to a Sylveon and Reuniclus who lived in the forest without human intervention. Though he found himself without his parents at a very young age. Chris can't exactly recall what happened to them or where they went. All he remembers is being on his own.
He managed to survive well on his own but was later taken in by Hideout Recruits who took pity on him (Vinny and Carina). He grew up in the Hideout and often ventured out by himself to explore, which is when he met one of his earliest friends. He and Stella would often meet up in the woods and hang out together for hours. They'd tell each other about their lives, vent their frustrations, and gradually grew closer over their encounters.
He later evolved into a Sylveon and assumed it was just due to the close bond he had with his friend and not underlying feelings he harbored for her. Though he doesn't exactly know how his own feelings work or how they should feel. It was around that time that Stella confessed to him that she wanted to join the Hideout. He, of course, took her back with him so that could become possible.
They grew even closer once she was working in the Hideout alongside him and have been practically inseperable since.
