Valdis is very soft spoken and hardly speaks. He suffers from Selective Mutism which is an anxiety disorder where he is normally capable of speech but in certain situations he cannot speak in general or to specific people. He is very shy and socially anxious as well, which only add to his disorder. After he gets over his anxiety when it comes to talking to people, he is a bit of a chatter box while keeping a very hushed and quiet tone.

Valdis is very fond of ghost and psychic type Pokemon and is also partial to dark type Pokemon. His team is made up entirely of these types of Pokemon and he doesn't plan to expand his team's typing beyond that. He treats his Pokemon very well and like they are family and is often seen speaking to them, even though they can't really keep the conversation going.

✧ History ✧

Valdis was born an only child and was raised by just his father as his mother walked out on them. He never knew why, but he does not question her reasoning. He was born with very enhanced psychic abilities and has the power to move objects with his mind (Psychokinesis/Telekinesis).

He can't move objects that are heavier than what he'd be able to life physically and is unable to lift people or Pokemon using his mind (with the exception of pokeballs with Pokemon inside of them.). Currently he travels the region to expand his knowledge and explore his spiritual values. He is often seen in places where ghost and psychic Pokemon are very common.
