Description
Although almost every serpentman obediently and reverently worships the True Ruler (Incarnation of Forefather), but they don't fear him, for the True Ruler, as is commonly believed, is kind to his people and fair in his decisions. Whom the serpentmen have a genuine fear is U'solmath and his apostles. In the legends of serpentmen, U'solmath is an ancient deity of sleep and the dead. He is depicted as a colossal-sized snake with six eyes and wings on back, the head of which is crowned by a mane of thorns that constantly oozing poison. Sometimes he is depicted with a cobra's hood that is covered with bone spikes. On U'solmath's gigantic body are hundreds of mouths, always hungry and constantly clattering their teeth. Some stories say that this great serpent appears on the battlefield, after a terrible slash. He crawling among the and corpses devours them. With every devoured corpse, a host of mouths on U'solmath's body whispers what (there is an opinion that they pronounce the name of the murdered).
The cult of the apostles which serving this Great Serpent is basically the funeral home. At the requiem for the dead, the apostles to read a very long prayer in which they ask U'solmath not to devour the soul of the deceased, but to let her calmly go to the world of Dsha-Ha or as it's also called the Realm of the Sun (probably an analog of paradise)where this soul continue to serve the Forefather. In return, the deity is offered to eat the body of the deceased. Also apostles made some ceremonial gifts.

Big, fat, escolex-headed, clergy serpentmen of horror and dread.
That deity they serve does have some scary descriptions according to legend. Are you going to draw him as well ?

Yes, I want to draw this deity. He must be majestic and terrible at the same time, as well as inspire awe. But so far I don't know how to implement it)

You could start as a conceptual thing, like a scene: an apostle preaching to the crowd with the deity's shadow forming up behind him.
Using it to show a midground of what it looks like and what the masses think it does

It's all good man, Just wanna help
Consider the Guthrie idea as well if you like; The black substance thing could be used as 'Mercy' to those crazed prospects found wanting
