This is a concept sketch of a Roboticized Base for a later storyline.His jacket is missing? Yes is it. Robotnik wouldn't want individuality amongst his robots, so why do it with that piece of clothing on?
Boots and gloves can be easier to alter, and are programmed to be converted to weapons by the machine, as can be seen both arms carry blaster lenses and retractable hands.
The design idea was reached after looking into an old Sonic comic where Sonic was changed into a killing machine.

Good picture, I've got two questions, maybe three.
(1) Are we gonna see the front of Metal Base anytime soon?
(2) Will he regain control of his body later on in your story?

1) As soon as I can draw it up.
2) He never loses it, since his sword is magic, and since Sally's is as well, when everyone ends up roboticized him and her are the only ones to regain themselves right off.
3)It's not the same FF group or Base from the Mobius my stories are on, he comes from another dimension where the Freedom Fighter's lost to Robotnik to prevent it from happening in that dimension.

OH, clears up plenty of things.........I'm sorry but, Your talking to a guy that has been collecting the archie Sonic comic since the beginning, Would that dimension be the same dimension that (God I hate being a nerd sometimes) Referencing Issue number 75, Robo-Robotnik, now known as Eggman, came from?

I never got far in the comics, so I base the character's personalities and all off the old tv show mostly.
Though I've been collecting the old issues in my own special way and reading through them(unfortunately my method left me without the specials like the Metal Madness with Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles)
But I'll be looking into that soon

That's the lens I talked about in the description, I have this stupid obsession with making it so that the laser blasters need a lens to amplify the light source enough to use the laser and make it stronger than a stun weapon and its usually located above the hand.
