You curve away from me with curves that match my own,with lines that fit into mine with perfect accuracy
We are a pair, not puzzle pieces but mirror images
and life lives on in the little spaces between us
the burn, the heat of passion denied for something greater
something bigger than the both of us
But we are ugly in the eyes of the world
we do not match, but rather draw ourselves together
out of self centered sinfulness, something deeper
than even we can understanding
the burn, the heat of passion is a lie we create
something bigger than both of us

I wish my college offered a queer theory course...I simply stumbled upon this poet and convinced my professor to let me write about her, thus allowing me to rationalize reading up on queer theory
although it matches up with my religion class with is all about sexuality and the queering of Catholicism....oh the arguments that ensue in a Jesuit university
