Uh, oh! Basil doesn't seem to look very happy, does he? This has got to be one of the best moments of him. All right, I'm a major fan girl, but I love how handsome he looks here...even though he's a bit pissed at a certain ra--I mean um mouse.
I did my best to draw some part of the background. I think I did pretty well with the shading of the bottle, but hey what can you do when you have colored pencils? Still, either way, I'm proud of it. Enjoy guys, and please comment and let me know what you think.

Exactly, poor guy! He's more brain than brawn. To start hitting Ratigan would be an instant ticket to death. Look at the two in comparison: Ratigan would chew him up and spit him out all the while his cheering squad clapping and jeering him on.

Oh, I know, a major death wish that he doesn't want. Well, his profession is technically a death wish, right? I think that's why Basil didn't fight back during the battle on Big Ben, he knew he wouldn't be able to do anything, so running away from his was his only and best option.

I don't blame him trying to escape atop the clock tower, nor would I dare call him a coward. Ratigan is far too large and that surface was far too narrow to do combat on. I would have done the same thing with running away!

I don't think he was a coward either. I would have been yelling at him and wondering what the hell he was doing if he attempted to fight back.
