Description
The Rosenthal LRHLV, nicknamed the "War Boar" or "War Pig," is a highly modified Oshkosh M977A4 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck designed to support multiple special operations teams on long term mounted operations.

The War Boar is a development of the modified M1078 LMTVs used by Osean Special Forces teams to provide resupply for their long range mounted patrols. Much like the LMTVs, the vehicle is lightened and equipped with a strengthened engine and suspension. It is then fitted with an assortment of weapons, including but not limited to:

GAU-19 .50 caliber gatling guns
M2 .50 caliber machine guns
Mk. 19 or Mk. 47 Mod 2 automatic grenade launchers
M240B or Mk. 43 Mod 3 belt fed 7.62mm machine guns
M249 5.56mm machine guns

A GAU-19, M2, or Mk. 47 is generally mounted in a ring mount above the armored cab, while a pair of M2s or Mk. 47s are mounted around the middle of the bed, with a pintle-mounted machine gun fitted at the rear of the bed, near the crane. In addition to this, heavier weapons such as Javelin or SRAW anti-tank missiles and AT4 rockets are often carried to provide the vehicle with slightly improved anti-tank capability.

The vehicle is also fitted with secure communications equipment to enable it to coordinate with the teams under its umbrella, as well as higher echelons of command.

Each truck is loaded with enough food, water, fuel, ammunition, and spare parts to support two 8-man teams for two weeks of mounted operations.

This particular truck is shown painted in an operator applied camouflage scheme as it deployed in support of Rosenthal Crisis Resolution Division AFO teams during the conflict between Yuktobania and Verusa in 2025.
