Description
There lay they sheltered from the wind
under mighty beeches silken-skinned,
and sang of love that still shall be,
though earth be foundered under sea,
that sundered here for evermore
shall meet upon the Western Shore.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Quote from The Lays of Beleriand, "The Doom of Lúthien". Aww, you're sad? Tough. This is what you get when my Heaven Sent !ART! is underappreciated! (Doctor Who: Perseverantia Vincit Omnia )
Besides, EVERYBODY seems to like my River Song stuff. You should have heeded my warning a year ago. ( basiliskrules.deviantart.com/a… )

Though generally, I personally see Amy and Rory as a closer and more obvious parallel (Doctor Who: Of Beren and Luthien ). But yes, this quote fit perfectly.
