…In writing, it’s kind of hard to get across how huge and close-knit skithtiri families tend to be without giving them all names. You can’t flood a story with thirty irrelevant alien names though, so I just put stuff like ‘one of her littermates, an older sister, hoard of younger siblings, etc’ and hope that it’s less confusing. They’re sort of interchangeable for plot purposes anyway, don’t worry about it. OTZ

Sobe is the middle child in a litter of five; four ‘girls’ and one boy.
Each litter has a different father, so aside from littermates they’re all technically half-siblings(but I don’t think the skithtiri have a term for that. Actually, maybe they do but I think it would only be used on someone who has the same father but a different mother and never vice-versa).

This particular sister is unusually masculine with those fangs, osteoderms, and ear nodes(none of those are too unusual alone. Sobe has osteoderms as well as it’s fairly common among t’sun of their race. All three traits on one individual though? She probably got teased a lot when she was smaller).

I bet their grandmother passive aggressively sent her cosmetic dental surgeon gift cards growing up while their mom assured her that the notched fangs are cute and suit her perfectly. =w=;
