Description
Sometimes people look in my sketchbook and are all like "Wow, how do you draw rats like that without looking!?" and the answer is that I draw a lot of rats from photos first and have a pretty good understanding of their anatomy.If I put forth this much effort into literally anything other than learning to draw rats, I could totally take over the world.
Next time anyone asks me how I draw [x] so well, I will direct them to this deviation in the vain hope that they will realize there are no shortcuts to drawing a subject well.
Also, practice for an epic rat comic idea I have that will probably never be done. |D;;

Thanks~
I find it a good exercise whenever I can dredge up the motivation. Which isn't very often.
I wish I had kept a couple early examples to show how much it helps...
