Description
The Ranger class scout, USS Strider has been reassigned from Defense Outpost 1121 in the Korial sector to Star Station India. After a highly controversial "incident" in the Stogar system, within Klingon space, she is undergoing major refit operations before she returns to patrol duty.Based on an original Star Trek: The Role Playing Game (FASA) design, re-imagined by Brian Gillies and partially modeled by Kevin Riley back in 2003. This is only a WIP and there is much left to do, but I wanted to get something posted after such a long period with nothing new.
Latest Update 7/9/13. Most details from this angle are complete.

Of course she's not my design, but I adore her. I don't know of anything smaller outside of the Archer class depicted in the Simon & Schuster books, or various other fan designs that I have seen there and about.

I like this design. I would like to imagine a re-scaled variant that would be crewed by 9 persons MAX.
Three tactical: Helm, Tactical, Communications.
Three Science: Science-sensors, Bio-SCI, Medical.
Three engineers: Captain, Quartermaster, Engineer.
Is there a smaller "Patrol"-"Courier" type of vessel?
