Description
Turgon, high king of Gondolin....I was listening to the Silmarillion audio book and made this quickie.
Tell me what you think of this style- my girlfriend says that I only draw sinister characters that look evil. That's not true is it?

Interesting perception of the character. My view at Turgon is different, but I can understand this one.
And he does not seem so sinister to me.
As for other people, personally I was always hiding all my drawings from my mother, fearing that she would not praise or understand any of them. Express yourself freely and show your works to people who understand
Silmarillion is the only HolyBible for me, thank you for illustration!

I really wanted for him to look a little bit trublled at the events that eventualy led to Gondolin falling.

Great work, as usual! It is true, your characters seem a bit sinister. Although, for the most part I think that imposing is a better way to put it. It fits for the characters you draw.

I guess that's what you get by drawing warriors and people that wage war

So... Tolkien, i am righ...yes? Good concept. U know...there is some strong shading...because of it people have the impression of cruel, rude art. only IMHO

I have the same problem buddy when my parents watch my works. They say "how come such evil can born in your head?!"
I'm not an evil person! I just like fantasy and sci fiction!
Turgon - he's not sisnister, definetely! He is wise!
I like this style, really looks like illustration for book.
