Oh my god, I love this!! If the buses in New York were all this freakin' awesome, I wouldn't hate riding them quite so much. I can imagine that she makes little bruxing sounds instead of motor sounds...

Well, that's all fine and dandy. But I personally am a little frustrated with some artists going off on someone who 'dares' to draw something they did and think that its copying of an original idea and evil and terrible and zomg they stole something from you. 'That pose is the same as this drawing I did three years ago, you must have stole it from me!' nevermind that it's a generic pose that's in a bazillion other pieces of art, including ones in museums.
Nevermind the fact that this image is completely different from yours, (four legs instead of 6, wings, halo, a tribute to a lost pet) but simply because it's a 'ratbus', you seem to have gotten a burr in your saddle to think that it was 'stolen'. Guess what? The phrase 'ratbus' was coined to refer to the old VW Van, so that's not even original either! I've seen images of dogbus, and catbus, and dragonbus. It's not an exclusive thing. Deal with it.

Thanks so much for explaining to this kid that not every idea that comes into one's head is worthy of a 120 yr patent. I thought of this completely on the fly while talking to some rat friends of mine. It doesnt really look anything like the Catbus (which, btw, Miyazaki thought of first, if you want to get all technical and stuff). It was just a funny thought that I illustrated as such, to look like my lost pet. ZOMG I didnt go trolling through the giant pit that is Fur Affinity looking to steal cornball ideas. XD~~~ (I never need help thinking of odd crap to draw)
I saw someone else whining at one point that someone was stealing their ideas because they too had a 'black dog with blue hair' character. Man. I tell you. It is increasingly hard to find anything out there that is 100% unlike anything you've ever seen. We all gather our idea and inspiration from the same places, so of course we're bound to cross lines at some point. Tuff titty. Moving along.

Mm, I've been hearing you talk about this idea for quite a while now. Looking at the other.. "Submission information: Posted: 3 months ago" - So, BESIDES the obvious points made further down, I am quite sure you have had this piece in your brain for much longer than three months. I remember listening to the idea as far back as akon, even. Probably before that.
