Description One of the volcanic spring fed pools near Grindavik... Yes the water really is that light pastel blue colour. The white around the edges that forms on the lava rock is the mineral deposits having been leached out, and deposited there. This one is near the entrance to the famous Blue Lagoon spa where you can soak in the warm water...

You're very welcome! I can tell! I have always thought the mineral pools were so interested because of the colors, and the sand/clay (whatever it's considered) at the bottom.
