I also remember growing up in Windsor and fishing in the Detroit River... I caught an 8" bass or a perch (can't remember exactly), I was so proud until it came completely out of the water and I saw some fricken' 16" lamprey attached to it's side... Never been so grossed out in my kid life!
That's why why that flick never bothered me... Couldn't ever be miffed about some 3 inch leech after dealing with that huge, ugly lamprey! ARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Dear god man.
That's just....horrible.
BUUUT, it may only be a 3 inch leach, but you have to remember where it was! That's the kicker. And for the love of all that's good and decent, please don't make a comment about how it's better than a 16 inch lamprey down there. I can't take the imagery....
