Oh shiznit I learned how to do lineart!!! xD Wooooo! Still a little scribbly since I'm just getting the hang of it.. Geh. x_X
So... Yay Conan and Ai again. xP Chess boards are fucking hard to draw.
I'm thinking of colouring this later, but until then would anyone else like to try? I love seeing other people colour my stuff.
(edit for potential colourers: If you feel like using the canon colours, both have blue eyes, and the girl's hair is 'light brown' (though I always thought of her as blonde. o_O) You can always do a google search on 'Detective Conan' if you need to. xD)

I was just hoping for an adorable drawing of Conan and Ai as six year olds playing together, but for some reason they are six year olds mentally too.

As for my suspicion from just looking at the pic, It seems like a definite Conan win, it seems to me the bishop he is will take out the queen... Giving Conan a CRUEL advantage against Ai.
I mean, she's lost both her rooks... and with the queen gone, that = trouble.
And Conan really should win. XD
He's the detective... A game of logic like chess... definitely his sorta thing.

I love to draw fanart like that...Tinkywinky uses his televisoon to give conan subliminal message about bad things of some sort...and conan kicks him with a soccer ball and breaks the TV...I have no idea that would be fun

Ohhh man. While I was drawing Conan all I could think of was how much he looked like Harry. >_< I'm like "God I hope nobody thinks this is an HP fanart..." Anyway, he's a kid named Conan Edogawa from this anime/manga called Detective Conan. Both he and that little girl are, like, child geniuses for reasons... Too long to explain.... It's a great manga, though. I love it. xD

Yeah. He's basically a genuis detective who got shrunk by a drug meant to kill him. The girl's an ex-criminal scientist who specializes in making lethal poisons. She got shrunk by the same drug, which she made for this evil organization... That sounds really corny dosen't it? xD But it's a good story nonetheless. Lots of cool murder setups and freaky mysteries..

-points at chess board- I had waaay too much fun with that. See?? Ai is black ('cause she's in the BLACK ORGANIZATION! Whoaaaa! xD Yeah, lame.) And in her manner of thinking that the common man dosen't matter, she sacrificed most of her pawns, while Conan with his 'saving people thing' tries to keep all of his pieces alive but loses most of his more powerful pieces in the effort... Plus he castled witch is a very protective way of playing and Ai just sorta left her king there knowing that Conan would focus on keeping his pieces rather than attacking....... Okay yeah I'm making no sense.

Well, if that small thing with the crown is the queen, Ai is in for a hard time after this turn, if my eyes doesn't deceive me.
Plus she didn't castle (which even my offensiveplaying teacher does). It's really bad to skip, that, actually. At least in general.
And really, material wise...
1 queen = 9 pawns value.
1 rook = 4 pawns value.
1 bishop = 3 pawns value.
1 knight = 3 pawns value.
Let's see...
Conan has...
...taken more valuable pieces in that case (all of them being offensive powerhouses). Thus having the better offense.
...A better defense due to castling.
Ai has... well, more flexibility.
Come on Ai! Don't lose!

Well, it's just a little fuzzy in some places like under Ai (the girl's) shirt and around Conan's hood... But then again maybe I'm the only one who notices, eh?
