Yah. See them when I went to a pet shop with my mom when I was a kid. I had the same reaction; WTH?! (keep in mind I was only, like, 11...) She said they're for small pets like rabbits and hamsters and such... appently they need salt licks... go figure.

Funny, reminds me of my cousin. He used to poor tons of sugar on his cereal. And one day my mom "accidentaly" put salt instead of sugar in the sugar bowl. He ended up eating a spoonfull of some really really salty cereal in his mouth. *snickers*
