Ekiken is able to cure most common illnesses, diseases and flu's, sometimes even giving people a fighting chance against chronic illnesses or healing bits of blight. However depending on the severity of such illness, this drains more or less of his energy, making him slightly ill as well, having to resort to a certain resting period time limit.
Health's Reward |
Ekiken is able to see the differences between a healthy person and an unhealthy person, playing a verdict in whether or not he chooses to heal the, from sickness or infect them with an illness of certain such severities. He can only examin a small group of people (3) at a time and using it for too long strains his eyes.
Epidemic |
Ekiken is able to inflict a widespread occurrence of infractions diseases and or illness to a community. However this wears him down significantly and he is required to rest the entire day, before he can use any of his other powers.
Flu Season |
Ekiken can send out a small strain of sickness, usually just headaches, festers and common cold symptoms to a small group of people, or make an ayakashi delirious with similar effects of the common cold. This is his most regularly used power, although if used too many times it can wear down his health bit by bit.

Ekiken is usually very observant, watching over humans and the people around him, although he may not always be fully listening. He can be a little careless when he is feeling unwell or overexherts himself, pay no mind to things around him and causing work for others because of it. When it comes to certain things he likes or dislikes he can be a bit fastidious, not liking it when people change his usually routines and small details that stand out to him, even if they're trivial.
He is sympathetic of others, although he tries to keep a realistic view on things, instead of letting his emotions rule his decisions. He is very stubborn, complaining when he feels lazy, which is most of the time and someone wants him to do something, he can also get very clingy to people he likes, leaning all over them and getting upset when they go somewhere without notifying him first. Even with all these negative traits, Ekiken can be very gentle and caring, wanting to look after the people that are special and look after him.

History:
Born from the pestilence that infected the people of the Near Shore, Ekibiogami devastated the humans with all kinds of disease, plague and illnesses. His powers only being used to bring sadness and pain to those affected by it and those that cared for the sick.
The God never took the time to observe the people he infected, nor the ones that were left in despair and grief, after their loved ones lives were taken. However one day as he was taking a moment to himself he heard the faint sobs of a child, their pleas and prayers striking a chord in the heart of the God.

Please save them... make them healthy again, the god didn't know why, however he granted the child's prayers, choosing to spare the few from the same thing he had used to infect them to begin with. After this the god became more aware, more observant and ultimately sympathetic towards the creatures known as humans... Every now and then the god would answer the prayers of the Near shore, withdrawing the pestilence he created. Although he had become softer, balance had to be maintained, sometimes ignoring the pleas he was given and sometimes coming to their aid, as he felt fit to do.
