Nice camera angle on this piece as it shows the sunlight nicely reflecting off the sweatiness of their skin...  gives you an appreciation of the intensity of their struggles, especially the purple-haired gal.  The brunette looks as if she's saying, "Hey, I think you're sinking faster."  Of course, she, too, has made the same mistake as her friend by allowing her hands and lower arms to be consumed by the quicksand as they slowly sink into the dark depths below.
