Description Originally a very drab gesture painting, I went back in and painted right on top of it with warmer colors.

Forgive the four year delay on this response. I've been away from the site for some time. But I am back now. I painted this piece on a quartered sheet of 22 x 34" Arches Cover paper. I began by covering the page in a white gouache. Once it dried, I applied a whole mess of acrylic paint to it. I was fortunate enough to have a model of a skeleton. This was invaluable. I also had a spotlight with which to light the body. Hope that helps! And thank you very much for the kind words.
