Personality
In his private life he's laid back, preferring to listen to calm music while reading a good book. Despite coming from a well-off family he cherishes the simple pleasures in life and doesn't care for social formalities.

At work however he's very serious and hardworking, always driving himself to the limit in order to catch the bad guys.

Young for a detective (despite his old-looking face) his passion for this field of work got him a position, but sometimes his inexperience will shine through.

Backstory
Born to a rich family, both his parents were high-ranking officers in the previous war and ran a disciplined home that adhered strongly to old world values. But his aunt on his mother's side upset the orderly world Cyrus lived in by introducing him to the bustling Metropolis. She was a detective and the one that guided Cy down his current path.

Though his parents disapproved, Cyrus fell in love with detective work and was almost always by his beloved aunt's side learning all he could. He was even introduced to his pokemon partner by her. But two years ago she was killed while on the job, and since then Cy has worked his hardest to fill her place.

Cy has recently been employed by someone very interested in Ms. Jones and with several police departments wanting information on her activities, Cy was more than happy to take up the case.

She's been with Cy since she was a pup, a gift from the Saffron Police Department (SPD) through his aunt. She was born among humans, being bred for the police in tracking down drugs and criminals. Still young she's very playful, but when Cy get's serious she does her best to concentrate.

Extremely loyal and loves Cy as if her were her brother. She mirrors his sense of justice and doesn't abide bad people or bad pokemon.
