Since I'm doing Ptyra, I'm might as well do Ada too.
And since I envision her sounding like the fantastic Sissel KyrkjebΓΈ, who is the vocalist being the Titanic Overture [link] , I had to do something a bit different. [link] [link] <---Favorite song...ever in the history of songs
When I think "Sissel", I think Titanic Overture. When I think Titanic Overture, I think more about the ocean than the Titanic. So I had to do a lot of color changes.

I initially made her green because she was from an ocean setting, so I kept that. But I made them a lot more subdued and took away any bright colors. And though she's young here, I gave her a look that was a little older and wiser, given that the ocean was already pretty old by the time of the pterosaurs. And while she's definitely a bit more settled than Pterano is, she does have some unpredictability of her...sort of like the ocean is, and likes to keep a lot to herself. I guess you can say she's something of a personification of the ocean, especially from Pterano's perspective.

This is not a final version, I'm not so sure I like the color of her neck and belly. I'd like her to be a bit more of a grey-green theme.

Also, she has earned her place as #800!

It's a nice look. I see from my earlier comments that I might have given a less than encouraging tone here.

Bat-Snake can make Ada's beak any color she wants to. She's a great LBT fictional flyer designer and in my opinion, gives them very interesting personalities and I love all of their colors. (She even gave Pterano a daughter of his own. awwwh. and that was the best idea ever.)

Good to see both the new Ada and Ptyra drawings, Batsnake (I love them both just as much as I did in 2010. it's never worn off. Your pteranodons are great, and if I were a flyer, i'd LOVE to meet them both, (of course i'd be very shy and all at meeting them for the very first time, but i'd make a good, friendly, shy flyer friend for them, and i'd love to talk to Ptyra the most *as she'd be more in my age group*

Great colors and art style and effects on both these new Ada and Ptyra drawings. (THANKS for fresh Ptyra art. I still love her so much. I'm still a strong fan of her as i've ever been.

Why is her beak gray now? It makes her look either old or like a stone statue.

For her to have a more marine look. This is just a very rough first version

I see. I suppose the "sea green" is a good color for that.
