Description

It's time for some plot.

     A light breeze flowed as the night sky lit up the fields in all it's glory. Living far away from town was peaceful, calm. No one would bother anyone out here. Rules need not to apply to those already well accustomed to survival. It was the best solitary life one could ask for. Except this was the final night for a certain purple wyngro. At the edge of the fields stood Athena, a raptor-like wyngro that was full of untapped rage. She could not understand what she had done to deserve this curse from the gods. Bipedals were the weaker kind. Pathetic excuses to walk this land. They did not deserve to even exist in these harsh environments. Only the strong. Quads, in her mind, were far more superior. They were not burden by weakness and strive far more greatly than their bipedal counterparts.

  Athena could not take it. She wanted to be free of this curse. Artemis didn't understand. She couldn't. How could she? She was a quad. She could of never understood what Athena was coming from. She had the advantage since day one. And then there was Aphrodite. She was far more suited to live her life as a miserable little bipedal yet, grew up into a quad herself. This was unfair. Unfair to Athena. Why Aphrodite become something that Athena wanted? Why was life so cruel to her and yet, bless everyone else. She gritted her teeth just thinking of it. They were always against her. Those two. Them telling her to calm down and she's overreacting. They were just teasing her cause she wasn't like them. Yeah, that was it. Athena hated those two. Hated what they were and most of all; begun to despise their mere existence.

  She knew she couldn't beat them in a fight. They were both stronger and what she gonna hurt with small arms, a baby? Athena took a deep breath and slammed her fists on the ground. Why was life so unfair? Her anger has just about drove everyone away, even her only friend. Even he was a quad. She could not take this anymore. She peered over the edge again. Glancing at the rocks and the incline. It wasn't vertical, but it was a perfect steep for a slow and painful death. Just how she wanted; to feel the agony and pain course through her body. Letting the gods know that they have no control over her path now. They made her, but she could end it just as easily.

  It was either now, or live the rest of her life like this. She wasn't happy and she believed she, and everyone else, would be better off if she were to just. Die. With one last look at the sky, Athena could admit she was going to miss the beautiful scenery more than anything. To Apollo, she is sorry. For not being a sister. For yelling at him. For causing him to be sad and making his life miserable. He deserved to be happy, free from her burden. To everyone else, she hopes they can breathe in relief now that she's gone. Athena took a few steps back and began a running start. She was going to do this. There was turning back now. Goodbye everyone...

  As soon as she leaped, she felt a sharp pain in her tail, followed by her flying away from the cliff and hitting the ground ungracefully. What happened? Why was she still alive? What the hell stopped her? She would soon get her answer when she came face-to-face with a pissed off Artemis. Why her? Why does she keep following me!? "why won't yOU LET ME GO!?" Athena yelled angrily, snarling at her older sister. "What the hell were you thinking!? What were you trying to do!?" Artemis never let her emotions show through and right now, she was struggling to restrain herself. Athena could hear the pure anger in her tone, as if she murdered a child. Athena didn't like the fact that her sister stopped her. She can't control her life! "I'm so sick of you controlling what I do! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME DIE!" Athena roared out and ran at Artemis in attempts to knock her over. Artemis was not about to let her to the cliff and headbutted her back. "I WILL NOT...let you go through with this Athena. You are my responsibility..." Artemis was having a bit more trouble controlling her tone. It was worse than what it began as. Athena tried charging her again, only to get knocked back by Artemis' tail. "YOU HAVE NO MORE OF THIS SO CALLED RESPONSIBILITY. NOT ANYMORE. Why can't you just let me go!?" Athena voice cracked and she could feel the streams of tears flow down her face as she got up into a fighting stance. If she were to fight her sister, so be it. She will end herself either way.

  "I will not fail you again..." Artemis stood tall, ready for anything Athena threw at her. She didn't want to fight. But if was to keep her little sister alive, then she would do almost anything. Athena let out a blood-curdling screech, which caused Artemis to hesitate. Now, in a blind rage, Athena just started wailing on her sister. Biting her, punching her, kicking her. Everything. Artemis did not want to fight back. It would only worsen everything. Unknowing to the both of them, they were backing up towards the cliff. Athena was not letting up. All that bottled rage now unleashed onto Artemis. She could take it, but it beginning to look like Athena wasn't gonna stop. She was bleeding now. Athena's teeth cutting into Artemis' flesh. She had enough. But it was one decision too late. Athena revved up a strong kick to Artemis as said wyngro pushed Athena back. Both hit at the same time.

  The hit cause Athena to snap out of it. She quickly got up and looked around. Her sister was nowhere to be found. Where did she go? "A-Artemis?" She was on guard. She knew her sister could blend into the scenery exceptionally well at night and was waiting for a sneak attack. She waited. And waited. But nothing was happening. Besides the wind, Athena couldn't hear her sister's footsteps. Where was she? She looked around, but dead in front of her...was Artemis' necklace. By the very spot she was suppose to jump. She couldn't of... Athena tried to shake the thought from her head, more tears rushing down her face. She didn't... She couldn't of....

  She had.
