Ergo Proxy is probably one of the most under appreciated series of recent years. Sure, it's not one of the best but it certainly is one of the most unique(a sci-fi mindfuck, as someone put it
) It ranks up there with Ghost in the Shell: SAC and Paranoia Agent on my list of anime I'd watch over and over again.What makes me love this series so much is the interaction between the characters.
(if you have no idea of what I'm babbling about, go watch it. NAO)The personalities of Re-l, Vincent and Pino reminds me sooo much of my own characters- Sam, Lex, and Mia. Even their relationships and interactions with one another hit close to home. The episode mentioned above, Episode 16- where they're all basically well, busy doing nothing
is my absolute fave. 
On a last note, if I ever had a daughter I want her to be like Pino
(she doesn't have to be an android, tho)I wish I had more time to color this, but hope y'all still like!

man, I totally miss this show. It was the best anime of 2006 for me, along with Haruhi and When They Cry. Since then, there hasn't been anything good except for Gurren Lagann... *sigh* But Manglobe, the same studio that did Samurai Champloo and Ergo Proxy, is coming out with a new show this year! Hopefully it'll replace the hole in my heart that Ergo Proxy left... XD

Right now Ergo Proxy is my favorite anime. When my friend showed it to me I watched episodes 2-18 all in one night....O_O Vince is awesome, Pino is adorable, and Lil is Scary DX

Reklamo is one of those few bands that aren't trying to sound and look "cool" or "astig." They're cool and astig because they're out there playing a unique style of their own, a proverbial fresh air if you will. And they're having fun while at it, too

About the characters in Ergo Proxy. I share the same interest specially on that episode where they were stuck on a snowy place...thats where characters' personalities were explored much deeper through Mayer's observations.
I also like this anime due to the artstyle and unique concepts. And I like mindfuck stories.
I believe these types of stories will always be left out coz what always wins are what the general audience loves and what the stereotype appreciate.

Ergo Proxy really needs to be put out there for people to see. It has certain unique elements to it that are very lacking in other animes. This series is so great, I bought the box set on eBay (it's the only series I have wasted money on). My dad thinks it's pointless because he can't understand the philosophies embedded within the storyline and characters. My big brother LOVES it, though, but he stole my box set =="
