Grew older, kept building as a hobby, but picked up gambling. His math knowledge helped him considerably with this and he got very good, and made a lot of money. He would hold card games in the alleys with humans, which entertained him. He would win a lot, and he would always discover when someone was cheating because of his skill, but he never picked fights over it because if he were to fight a human he would be found out as a ghoul and reported. Eventually, as his addiction worsened, he came to see people as purely competition. They lost their value. After a card game, he was jumped by the group of humans he was playing with, as they were drunk and were trying to steal the money back that he won from them. Unable to hide himself any longer, he killed the men and left their bodies, since they were tainted with alcohol and less than appealing. When the families of the men who were killed were notified, they admitted that the men were addicted to gambling and would go out and play cards late into the night on a daily basis. CCG nicknamed Aleks 'Dealer' or 'The Dealer' because of this information. He would hold card games in the alleys monthly or sometimes every two months, where he would kill and feed on the players at the end of the game. This became more dangerous after every game, the CCG wasn't stupid. So in time, he was able to break away from his addiction for the most part, and started a car and mechanics shop with the money he had gained. With this, he was able to turn his hobby into a full-time job. Occasionally he will kill a customer and keep their car if he likes it enough, fixing it beyond recognition so he won't be caught. He will mostly travel out to other towns and areas to feed.
