HAHA. Everyone else is doing it, why not me? XD;;I love Sides. I keep thinking of him with Michael Rosenbaum as the voice. He plays Lex Luthor on Smallville and the Flash on Justice League. Actually I think of Sides = the flash in a lot of ways. XD
Anyway, the whole giant chin thing for the animated transformers doesn't bother me that much... it sort of harkens back to the batman animated style anyway. THe thing I don't like is the weird noses. So sides has a nose more like how I draw them. X3

Well, I've been out of the loop for a while.
Last thing I actually watched on TV was the TMNT when they were still on Channel 13 in Seattle.

well batman the animated series started in 1992... when I was 12. X3 I watched it, and the style, from then till Justice League Unlimited wrapped up the whole storyline last year. XD;; it's like... ingrained in my mind now!

I remember seeing some of the '92 series, but I was pretty young then, so it's not much.
Unfortunately, I have never had cable, so I never got to see any of the JLA or JLU in action, though I have found a few episodes on YouTube.
Personally, I like the new show Ben 10. I first saw it two Christmases ago, and I've been hooked ever since. I mean, ALIEN SUPERPOWERS!!!!

I'm not a huge fan of the art for the new TF show, and I absolutely DREAD the thought of the twins ever showing up drawn in that style. However~ if they manage to look like this I might even enjoy it X3 He looks VERY good. The smirk is perfect~

It's hard to figure out what the "rules" of the style is without some character turn arounds or more artwork from the show to really go by. :S It was hard to figure out where to put details and where to omit them. Glad you like him!

there's two books i have that I love. The first is "You can draw transformers" which is great for breaking down the shapes. The second is the Ark, which is all the character designs for the G1 series.

heheeh~ I'll be sad as well. Hasbro said something about characters in the classics line aren't going to be in the movie or the cartoon unless they're significantly different... but I'm not sure how it's all panning out. o.o here's to hoping. X3 EVEN A CAMEO WOULD BE FUN~

I haven't seen the show, but I've seen pictures and they are good. At least he doesn't look like he's wearing a thong in public when you view from behind
