I don't know what category to put this under, really it's just me being stupid. XDOh! please click the picture to see the larger version. It's another tegaki-e drawing so it's solid lines, no anti-aliasing. looks better close up than shrunk. :3
So someone said that people who are mecha lovers... and they had a word for it but damned if I remember... are the "new" furries. XD
Personally I don't like or dislike Furry characters. When I was in high school I liked them... but more the TMNT variety, not sonic or disney. I do blame disney for our society's love of Anthro characters. I grew up on Ducktales, Talespin, and their version of robin hood and well... crap man. Lots of it! I still am very impressed with people who draw them well.
Anyway. OMG IT'S AN ANTHRO CHARACTER X GIANT (sentient) MECH. I AM NOW ANNOYING 75% OF THE INTERNET... and probably an even greater portion of 4-chan.
What kind of sex life would these two have anyway? I mean, his HEAD is the size of her entire body. Wait. Don't answer that!
I am more attracted to the mech than the girl. XD;

Don't....answer that...? Are you sure? I can come up with several ways to answer how they could have a sex life. As well as several ideas that spring to life....

Both the girl and the mech are very good-looking--yes, he's handsome and she's pretty, but it was the LOOK they're giving the audience; the expression in their eyes was what won me over. Just that wonderfully defiant gaze both possess...

Hahah! The best of both worlds I guess.
I love the coloring and styles. They really match well together despite one being the mech and the other an anthro.
I do agree that those who like giant sentient mechs are kind of like the new furries. Not that I have a problem with it. Furries don't bother me either, but maybe it's just that I don't spend a lot of time in those kind of fandoms.
Funny that normally, I'm not into the idea of a human/humanoid X Mechanoid/sentient giant robot couplings, I do however like this pairing. They look very cute together. Kind of rare to for me to actually like a human/giant robot pairing.
