Just DRAW! Carry a little sketchbook around with you and doodle all the time. don't even show anyone if you don't want to. Draw whatever comes into your mind. Try to also draw from life or from photo reference as well. Look at how the mouth curves, or exactly where the hand falls when it's on someone's hip. How many heads long is the arm? How many eyes across is a person's face when they're turned to the side? It's important to practice from life because it builds your observation skills. :3 Art is like any physical activity, you gotta practice. the more you practice the better you'll be! WHenever you make something that looks horrible just think, "Well now that it's out of my arm that's one less bad drawing before I get the good ones to come out." believe me, i make a lot of bad drawings. XD;;;

yeah, i got ahead of myself. XD;; I didn't used to like drawing people or objects in the background. I'm beginning to like it, but my perspective is still off.
