It does it in another way as escapetime formulas. A mixture of traditional geometry and fractal power together. Think it was Jesse's (the author of MB3D) idea

It looks very realistic, aside from one thing. The edge of the bottom green cable looks too sharp. But this is abstract work, so maybe you wanted it to be that way

Yes, had to left something focused on the scene. Its a vital point. The viewer already knows the elements, even without seeing it before, so sharpening only a single focus point makes the element noticeable without the need of contemplating the whole scene, wich could be visually excessive, imho

Muy muy interesante. Me gusta como le das tu toque a las fórmulas IFS y dejan de ser bloques (muy interesantes sí) pero sin vida, como les pasa a otros compañeros (y a mí también). Quizás, sean los reflejos, la calidad de renderizado y el DOF, pero aún así la disposición está muy bien escogida

Como "consejo" te puedo decir que le dediques tanto o mas tiempo a las luces, ambientación etc como a los shapes en sí. Suelo enfocarlo como una fotografía y/o cuadro, así que me aplico el cuento como dicen

Sí. El problema para mí de la iluminación, luces, es que estoy en un estado previo, en el que no sé muy bien que estoy haciendo, aunque de vez en cuando me salen cosas chulas. El problema es que para probar cosas de reflejos etc tarda bastante más, pero bueno, supongo que poco a poco iré pillándole el truco e iré haciendo más cosas en el post processing.
