Amazing use of texture and light. Immediately that glassy texture paired with the bright light is extraordinarily captivating; I can't stress how much those immensely detailed patterns are made all the more dynamic by the way the light reflects off the material. The light itself also enhances the look of the image significantly, highlighting the surfaces of the domes and bringing out the intricate curves admist the heavy shadows.Β
In addition to this, the structural composition of the piece is also exceptional. The way the fractal nature is displayed in the spheres branching out into more spheres seemingly infinitely is very captivating; not only is the pattern itself a gateway to an immensely complex apparel, but the way the legs of the domes seem to implant themselves into the ground conveys a very solid feel of structural integrity.
The claws that branch out from the top of the spheres and appear in the background almost imply a factory-like atmosphere to the image, and reinforces that very sturdy feeling of the spheres, almost as if the claws were pumping energy into the objects.
In fact, that curvy shape consistent throughout the entire piece gives such a flexible, dynamic feel to the scene, and, again, paired with the ripple-like texture, particularly on the nearer face of the dome and the floor, an extremely engaging, freeform mechanical sense of distortion is conveyed.
Ugh, I'm lost for words. The fractal is simply superb with so much detail and structural significance, highlighted by the simple yet effective light and pushed off the edge by that lovely texture.
