Beautiful!! I think I will have a go at tweaking this one. Lately I have tried a few tweaks but had no luck so far... Some of them have the depth of field effect, and I know nothing about that (yet

I don't know about any tutorial about using Dof in MB. Would be interesting
I confess that coloring on this was even so hard as the tweak itself, so I used a stored light setting and adapted it to it. Is always useful to store and make your light settings too
Respecting the DOF in MB you must keep in mind that the program is using 'real' (for itself) Z coordinates, so you're in a 3D scene.
An easy way to do it is that what is kept between the Z1 sharp and the Z2 sharp is what MB keeps unblurred. If you don't want to blur the front e.g. make click with the Get Z1 in the closest object in the camera view and therefore Z2 is the other end what will be not blurred. Later is question to play with the aperture e.g. 0.1 or so to get stronger effects

Looking forward to trying that, thanks for the tips; and no, it seems there are NO tutorials anywhere about DoF, which surprises me... I think a bit of visual guidance would help us less-talented 3D'ers to master this technique... Oh well, I am only now getting a handle on dynamic fog and volumetrics... DoF will come next...
Just produced my first genuine tweak of parameters that are not of my own making (Tweak of Nature)...I've shied away from doing that over the years, feeling that perhaps it would slow my personal learning curve. But I see that is not necessarily true... For one thing, I notice that those formulas that have an underscore in front of their title (e.g., _xyzabc) can be used as the first choice, they don't have to be put second or third in the lineup...they will work as long as they are not used separately. I never knew this
