Hmm.
I like the bookeh, and the colours are great, and the rim light, who doesn't love rim light! But I am also a bit confused by the background, especially that thing hanging behind the guy. The place it has in the picture suggest that it's important, but it doesn't really seem to be the case. I probably would cut the picture around the guy and make it horizontal rather than vertical. The picture could lose a bit of the nice contrast between the blue sky and the orange light, though.Β

I like the contrast between the cold sky and the warm light/atmosphere in the bottom. For me, the thing in the background connects the sky with the foreground in a humanistic fashion, and, in a screwy way, leads to the guy smiling at the far right.

I agree to the letter, but at the same time I think that the real focus of the picture is the connection between the playing man and the smiling men (or, actually, the lack of it; he seems somewhat isolated) and the composition with the thing in the background distracts from it.
But well, one could argue that this thing connects him - and not those two guys - with the sky, which is why he is isolated. The isolation of an artist. Poetic stuff. Oh well. Maybe it should stay, then.
