Story By Title 3It all started as an American Dream . You know, the one where lights tend to beguile..in places where pretty little girls pretend to be older-than-they-are. Stars fall into concrete  and give us a place to step on long forgotten Mexican silent movie stars. Where did you go Antonio Moreno? I was on my way to The Pub Lunch  ...as on every Friday with mom. She, always with scrambled eggs and toast....I tried the soup...not half bad. Just being there brought some lyrics to mind. Maybe I'll write about it some day. Call it The Ballad of the Sad Cafe.  A place where everyone meets, but no one makes eye contact, or speaks to one another. But we really look busy.
As we left the place I noticed the cops had started The Investigation  and it was just as they suspected. The scooters were compliant, but those cardboard boxes were double parked. A travesty! We were
