Problem Solved
It sounds funny because the God debate is often portrayed as such a profound and insoluble riddle. But if you actually do Google it, you’ll find plenty of articles about untestable hypotheses, anecdotal evidence, Ockham’s Razor, and other useful info about how to evaluate claims, as well as info about evolution, cosmology, particle physics, and other relevant subjects. (I’ve even written a few myself.) Sure, you’ll also find websites like Answers in Genesis, but if you read everything that’s available, you’ll understand why it’s not called Correct Answers in Genesis.
So if anybody asks you why it’s irrational to believe in God, you can just tell them to Google it. And if they accuse you of naively oversimplifying a complex issue, just direct them here.

The Jews are in the fact that they originated from specific tribes of Israel, such as the Ashkenazim Jews. People that banded together as a culture and stayed that way for thousands of years, marrying and living amongst one another, making themselves a people. That makes them a race, yes. Christianity is pretty damn new on the scene when it comes to religions.

I'm sorry for my ignorance. They don't teach us the exact meaning in school because it can be a touchy subject, and I've never heard about it on the news, that, I do watch. I'm not told what the definitions of certain words are by the school, or television. (Racism is a huge deal in my town, and the schools try to avoid the subject.)
And, if you felt it necessary to tell me I was wrong, then that's fine. But to have someone I don't know straight up insult me and tell me that what I said is illogical, hurt.

Racism has to deal with race. Period. If it included sexism, homophobia etc then those words wouldn't exist. Racism deals with race. Sexism deals with sex. These words are not interchangeable. They are not synonymous with each other. Your complete lack of understanding of these words, their definitions and how they are used is astounding for someone your age.
Also Christianity isn't a race. Things like racism and sexism have to do with things that are out of a person's control. Religion is a choice. A person's sex, race and sexuality are out of the person's control that cannot be changed or chosen.

Sweetheart, you're going to have to get used to this concept, but not everyone believes in religion and just because some people don't believe in the same thing you do it doesn't mean you're being persecuted. The persecution tactic is a crutch every religious person likes to use when they don't have a solid argument. Religious types seem absolutely incapable of letting agnostics or atheists have their own ideas about how the world works. People think that if you don't believe in a god or a magical spaghetti monster in the sky that farts rainbows or whatever, you're a terrible person. That's racism too, if you'd like to go by your definition.
So. If we want to continue to talk about racism, might we go into the atrocities of the Spanish Inquisition? The Crusades? Done in the name of religion, hundreds of thousands killed. Uhh in the effect that they are religious while others are not, then yes, they are all in the same group. A diverse group consisting of many different religions, yes, but a group nonetheless. That is quite a big group. They all have faith in a higher power. That's a pretty big similarity.

Religion causes most of the strife in the world. It hurts not only other religions, but its own people, and people who don't believe are either shunned or persecuted or killed. For instance, in the cult of Scientology, if you defect from the cult you are labeled as a "Suppressive Person" and your family is ordered to shun you and disavow all knowledge that you even existed. This is just an example of a lack of "rational thought" that is mimicked through other religions as well.
You know that the North Koreans believe that their Great Leader is actually a deity, yes? He can make it rain and all this other magical crap. Well, not crap. Apparently they don't crap either. Do you know what happens to people when they're accused of not believing this religious nonsense as fact? You don't see those people ever again. I don't see atheists or agnostics today applying these same tactics against people who believe in religion.
