Problem Solved
It sounds funny because the God debate is often portrayed as such a profound and insoluble riddle. But if you actually do Google it, you’ll find plenty of articles about untestable hypotheses, anecdotal evidence, Ockham’s Razor, and other useful info about how to evaluate claims, as well as info about evolution, cosmology, particle physics, and other relevant subjects. (I’ve even written a few myself.) Sure, you’ll also find websites like Answers in Genesis, but if you read everything that’s available, you’ll understand why it’s not called Correct Answers in Genesis.
So if anybody asks you why it’s irrational to believe in God, you can just tell them to Google it. And if they accuse you of naively oversimplifying a complex issue, just direct them here.

I dont usually rant. I dont usually comment on this stuff. because that's why its posted, its posted to stir things up, to make people fight. or out of a need for self justification, which is stupid to begin with, if you know what you know, whats the purpose of proving that you know it. does it change what you know or how you feel about. and if it does then do you really know what you know. or are you just fishing for a pat on the head. any way I'm done, I'm out. I know that I'm pretty nevi about my views on thing. and I believe its wrong to piss on people for there views. but I really just want art. I want art on deviant art. I dont want some ones agenda not affixed to real art. I wouldn't wine if this was an amazing painting or piece of personal literature genius, or some artistic medium describing this persons personal views. this is just crap. and it belongs in a journal, not an art post.

I dont really feel angry. annoyed that I allowed myself to get sucked in. and annoyed because I am feeling helpless that I cant make it so I dont have to be subjected to this type of none artwork submission in my inbox. its like I didn't have a choice weather I wanted to see it or not. and it happens again and again. so it builds up. the more I see them.

I'm a Christian, but I enjoy seeing both sides of the argument. I like to read what others say against God. By doing this it helps strengthen my own faith and it helps me learn. Reading these, I find some plausible arguments and some interesting viewpoints. I found one or two flaws, but I digress.
I think the key thing to remember here is this: The Internet isn't, entirely accurate all the times. Let's face it, the Internet has been known to lie.
Still, I won't say this wasn't funny. I learned from it. I still believe in Christ as my Lord and Savior, but this was educational.

Oh, atheist and religion wars. I find either side is tolerable when they are speaking rationally and admitting the plausibility of the other. But alas, the 'because I said so' arguments on this page from both sides make me lose faith in humanity.
Funny deviation, nonetheless. I rather liked the point it in itself portrayed-- about the non-existence of a certain answer and how shaky the grounds of proof for and against can be. I was in a good mood before I read the comment. Ah, well. Clever work-- too bad the wit of it is overshadowed by debate.

I agree. The internet is merely a mode of expression, not fact. Just our collective conscious, not a definitive source. The real test of whether something is real or not is to see/touch/experience it yourself.

Aren't you generalizing the entire Christian population? Isn't that a bit, you know, uncalled for?
I am fully aware that there are extremists (no duh), and every religion and philosophy have their own extremists, even atheist (take a look for TheAmazingAtheist for example), but you can't generalize the entire population. It's like me saying that I hate every Muslim people because of a few extremists like Al-Qaeda. I, myself, am a reasonable Roman Catholic/Maronite Christian who doesn't have a problem with homosexuality, abortion, divorces, believes in the Evolution and tolerates people's beliefs. I was taught that I should love everyone like I love myself and make good decisions, in and out of religion.
I understand (and thinking) that you've met some extremists, but think about the rest of the population. There is always a good group of people.
