Description
A creature concept for my headworld Asprea. It was inspired by the roadrunner. I enjoyed playing around with it's dentition, and I quite like it's hooved feet and quadrupedal stance. It only goes on it's hind legs to run. That bit was inspired by certain therapod dinosaurs. It eats invertebrates similar to scorpions, as well as serpentine species. I imagine it has a potent musk that deters most larger predators.Sandrunner and image (c) Hilary Francis
