Mikr is small and curious but cautious. He's used to being solitary, and so has undeveloped social skills, but he tries his best to be courteous. If backed into a corner, he'd sooner flee than fight, but he can be scrappy if he absolutely has to.

Is there anything you feel very STRONGLY that your character NOT be drawn doing?: Anything that goes against his personality. Also: he never makes eye contact with females, and rarely with males as it is a sign of dominance and he is far down the totem pole in his society, nor does he bare his teeth unless scared, upset or disgusted; this means no toothy grins too.

Are you okay with your character being drawn with other characters without being asked first?: Sure thing! Just keep in mind his overall personality and you can't go wrong. Oh, and be sure to show me after you're done! I'd love to see.

Skills: Good at tracking, traveling long distances, survivalist, has a keen memory for landmark and information, and has a natural companionship with animals.

Background: Mikr is a smaller than average male of his species, but other than that he's a pretty typical guy. Well, for a sindjh. In his species, the gender roles are reversed. The women are the protectors and do the hunting and fighting; the men are the providers and do the foraging and gathering and look after the home and children. They group in clans, which are run by a matriarch, who is the strongest, most battle-worthy female our of them all. She takes complete responsibility for her clan, and the other females are expected to act as her soldiers and bodyguards. Sexual dimorphism exists, and the females are larger and stouter than their smaller, lither male counterparts. Sexism is pretty rampant in their culture, and men don't have equal rights.

Mikr, being so small, was considered dainty and a prize to be had by many a female. He didn't want to be tied down however, so, with the permission of his matriarch, he took up scouting. Being so small was considered a disadvantage for the position, and the matriarch was questioned for her choice, but she stood firm in her decision and no one dared question her again. Mikr soon proved that he was innovative and not to be held back by his small stature when he caught and trained a hussanki bird to be his steed - something all the other sindjh of his clan were too large and heavy to accomplish.

Able to travel much farther and faster than even the most large and skilled females, he was given the honorary position of becoming his clans messenger. While his new position was a good one, most females frowned heavily on a mere male doing what had been a woman's job for centuries past. His status as being desirable disappeared, and Mikr was left with only his hussanki steed for company. Now that he could finally give in to his wanderlust, Mikr traveled the prairies and deserts between clans as needed.

But on this last trip, he found himself separated from his steed by a vicious dust storm, and he doesn't recognize any of the landmarks around him...
