Name: Mhaetotae (may-toe-tae) shortened to “Mhae”

Height: About 3’ at the shoulder, hunched over. About 5’ 4” to tip of horns, when standing tall. (Size chart: [link] )

Age: Young as far as demons go, but old as far as humans are concerned.

Gender: No gender, but is referred to as male most often.

Town: Kobekan Mountain

Personality: Mhae is a trickster and a prankster who can hardly take anything seriously. He rarely gets worried and views all events as a “let’s role with this” scenario (think of a cross between Bugs Bunny and Ferris Bueller). Being a long-lived, pretty much immortal demon, he doesn’t exactly feel the need to rush anything or like he needs to be anywhere in particular, so it’s not recommended to rely on him for much. Gaining Mhae’s allegiance or trust can be a blessing and a curse at the same time. He shows affection about the same way he shows hate (except the pranks are done affectionately…you think) and can show up at very inconvenient times to annoy you. However, he is loyal to the end and will do anything to protect a friend (only he is allowed to cause mayhem in your life now). His pranks are usually pretty harmless and simply annoying as heck, but get him really mad and he will show you why he is called a demon.

Is there anything you feel very STRONGLY that your character NOT be drawn doing?: Not really.

Are you okay with your character being drawn with other characters without being asked first?: Yup!

About: Being a demon has its perks, but in Mhae’s home world it may not mean what it does elsewhere. Mhae isn’t necessarily evil, but he’s “unnatural” and materialized rather than being born. He has some physics defying powers along with more natural attributes. He has no gender/sex, is an ageless immortal and extremely tough, but massive trauma/damage can kill him. However, he can heal much faster than a human and regenerate any body part.

Attributes: The spines that poke out of his shoulders are venomous. The venom can cause nausea, breathing difficulties, paralysis, convulsions and collapse. Even death may occur in exceptional circumstances. Most people survive in spite of the great pain. The rest of his physical attributes are readily apparent such as his horns, claws, long, sharp canine teeth, and powerful spine-tipped tail.

Abilities: Mhae changes colors. It usually correlates with his mood, but honestly he does it most of the time to confuse or freak people out. He has the same general markings, just different hues (and when I say “mood” I mean whatever color he feels like being, there isn’t a set color indicating a set mood). He can move silently, and I mean, silently to the point that it’s an unnatural ability probably enhanced by some supernatural power, probably related to his ability to wiggle out of nearly any small space or bindings. (He really is an annoying creature.) He’s fire resistant and at a great energetic cost can sometimes form a “force field” around himself and another person for a very short period of time, as well as being unusually strong for his size. These last few are generic “demon powers” from his home world and are not specific to him alone.

The Bell: The bell is a sensitive subject for Mhae. It’s the only item on his person and he can’t remove it once it’s on and it cannot be physically silenced. The other demons in his home world got so frustrated with his antics, pranks, and personality that they installed a magic bell (it’s more like a coin with metal chimes hanging down) on him. This way they can hear him coming…like a cat. He hates it so much. Lucky for him the transportation to Hetherev removes it. HURRAY! He can be a more efficient butthole again.
