These types of bases has their own rules!
Change the face: If you don't change the face, then that's using a style you can't even draw. No base edits: If my bases look to "creative" for you, don't post edits for others to use. I think for the first rule you forgot a word.
I wanna know why legs are drawn like that for bases? I see it a lot and I find it interesting. Is it a style?

Thank you for that, I would have never seen it. And for the legs; I usually draw the (female) legs inward witch shows the indents of the calf, probably why they look like that
