I borrowed a copy of the first season of the cartoon "Sitting Ducks" from the library, and I LOVE it.(Kind of sucks that it's got such a lousy time frame on CN.)
So, I decided to draw all of the main characters (Except for Jerry the Parrot, forgot about him...). Messed up with the size comp, but you can't have everything...
For those of you who haven't seen the show, here are descriptions:
Bill: Star of the show. He's also the smallest, meekest character.
Aldo: Bill's best friend. An alligator that has decided to stop eating ducks after finding out what a nice guy Bill is.
Bev: Owner of the Decoy Cafe, and, as a side business, a mystic gypsy wannabe. Bill has a crush on her.
Ed: Eldest of the three couch potato brothers who live next door to Bill. Always comes up with ways to cheat others and get rich.
Oly: Ed's younger brother. Has a real cool-sounding voice.
Waddle: Youngest and stupidest of the three. Mostly thinks with his stomach.
Cecil: A dentist working in a town without teeth. Cecil also invents stuff.
Fred: A penguin immigrant from the South Pole, and a good friend of Bills. His apartment is like a freezer.
Raoul: A jerk of a Latino crow. Always mocks ducks for not being able to fly.
Drill Sergeant Duck: An extremely militant and strict cop. She calls Bill a "Gator Lover" and tends to write up tickets when she's angry (Which is pretty much all the time.)

Well, in hindsight, as an obscure 26 episode import. CN could only give the show so much care.
It might not be that they did not like Sitting Ducks, but rather they did not own it. Universal owns Sitting Ducks whereas a show owned by Time Warner like Teen Titans would prove far more marketable.

The artist makes them look smaller than normal, and they also look cuter than usual. Sitting Ducks is a nostalgic show to me. I would watch the episodes often on YT. It kinda makes me relaxed to watch this show regularly. Nice cartoon show from 2001!

I have the game for this, but sadly it only has seven episodes or missions on it.You can watch Sitting Ducks on qubo at 2 a.m.

Only secen episodes? I have the game too, but I remember more. I lost the game though when I took a break from the mission where your running around town as Aldo trying to follow Raoul to find Bill(which was not pleasant given that its hard to see things like fire hydrants when your that large and looking at something in the sky.)
I also have the DVD collection.

I've actually been searching around a bit for any fandom on this show. Aside from this and a fanfic drabble on ff.net, I've been coming up empty. Have you made any fanfics, or other fanart?
Though, in all sincerity, you could probably make a pretty decent fancomic or something out of this artwork.

Well, I've still got another couple of months till graduation, but now that you mentioned it, a friend of mines been talking to me about fancomics: I might give Sitting Ducks a try.
I really did like the series(Oli, and Bill were my two fave ducks.)- I'm a fan of best friends you would'nt immediatly think of being best friends(I got a spider and a ladybug as original characters who are in love for example) and the series ended too soon to tell all the possible stories: I'd like it if they did a couple more stories showing Bill's pet parrot being a jerky freeloader when Bill's not around- they only scratched the surface with THAT.
I'll see if I can come up with a plot. It might be fun to give this series some love again.

I've played the game, and they should have made Aldo more playable. I gotta admit, it's fun to wander around Ducktown being the biggest thing ever. True it cuts down a little on your visability cause everythings half the size it's supposed to be(and... you know, the cameras directly behind your back, so you block your own view.), but it's FUN!
And yes, I love Aldo and Bill's freindship in finding out they have so much in common beyond the phylum difference, as well as Aldo speech in one episode of "If you gators actually took the time to get to KNOW these ducks- you wouldn't be so quick to eat them."
