I borrowed a copy of the first season of the cartoon "Sitting Ducks" from the library, and I LOVE it.(Kind of sucks that it's got such a lousy time frame on CN.)
So, I decided to draw all of the main characters (Except for Jerry the Parrot, forgot about him...). Messed up with the size comp, but you can't have everything...
For those of you who haven't seen the show, here are descriptions:
Bill: Star of the show. He's also the smallest, meekest character.
Aldo: Bill's best friend. An alligator that has decided to stop eating ducks after finding out what a nice guy Bill is.
Bev: Owner of the Decoy Cafe, and, as a side business, a mystic gypsy wannabe. Bill has a crush on her.
Ed: Eldest of the three couch potato brothers who live next door to Bill. Always comes up with ways to cheat others and get rich.
Oly: Ed's younger brother. Has a real cool-sounding voice.
Waddle: Youngest and stupidest of the three. Mostly thinks with his stomach.
Cecil: A dentist working in a town without teeth. Cecil also invents stuff.
Fred: A penguin immigrant from the South Pole, and a good friend of Bills. His apartment is like a freezer.
Raoul: A jerk of a Latino crow. Always mocks ducks for not being able to fly.
Drill Sergeant Duck: An extremely militant and strict cop. She calls Bill a "Gator Lover" and tends to write up tickets when she's angry (Which is pretty much all the time.)

This show actually teaches a valuable lesson, you show to get to know someone before you judge them as something they may not be.
(or in this show's case, get to know your duck before you decide to eat them)

Personally, I kind of pieced together a few of the loose ends on that show (I tend to do that) and the way I see it, the ducks agreed to allow the alagators certain benufits free of charge on condition of not eating them. The way I see it, the gators may NEVER get over the concept of eating ducks, and the ducks may never get over their fear of gators (Lets face it, the ducks do overstep their bounds sometimes... Like that extream gameshow where they tried rubbing a gators belly... Way I see it, the walls there for a reason on BOTH parties.), but I'm kind of reminded of the respect certain cultures give animals they eat... It could be that way with Ducktown and Swampwood...
Random aligator: (Talking to duck) Um... Look, Joe- we've known eachother for years right?
Random duck: Sure thing Archie... We've been winning a LOT of trophies in the Syncronized Swimming compititions...
Gator: Look... Nothing personal, but... well, works been kind of slow lately... I was wondering if you'd take it personally if I had to eat you one of these days...
Duck: O_o...
Gator: Sorry... I shouldn't have said anything...
Duck: No... no, I understand... Just... If it comes down to that, don't use any mustard... I don't like mustard...
Gator: I'd NEVER use mustard on you, ol' buddy... (they hug)
(I had an idea LONG time ago to do Sitting Ducks fanfiction, but I never got around to it... and yes, I'd probably make up some pretty wierd stories like that.)

I've always wondered why ducks would WILLINGLY live next to alligators that are bent on eating them. Rofl. xD
If I had to be either citizen of Swampwood or Ducktown I think I'd be an alligator. They're more like me than the ducks. (expect for the eating ducks mercilessly part, lol)

I don't know, mostly I feel like an alligator cause I'm pretty tall, clumsy and scary, other times I feel like a duck cause of my goofy nature...
There should be a "Sitting Ducks Personality test" or an RPG where you play as either a duck or a gator in the SD universe.

Fantatstic Job! I have a converter box and here is the schedule! Monday thru Saturday: 3:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. It's not on sunday which offends me! Other than that great job on this picture!

I actually bought the GAME. 
But yeah, I loved this series. The relationships between the ducks and the gators, the whole concept that if the gators actually took some time to know the ducks they wouldn't be so quick to eat them, and Oly... Yes- Oly is awesome. I just wish CN hadn't taken it off.

For me, it was Olie because of his voice(Heck, his voice was the coolest thing on the show in my opinion.) but Aldo and Bill both had a special part in my heart. My favorite moment of their friendship was the ending of the episode where Bill was molting;
Bill: You know- it's not that bad being green...
Aldo: I never thought so...

Love the cartoony styleof your work. I liked this show back in the day(3 years ago...~_~) It may of beated Pecola but it still got pulled after 2 seasons. Then came "Midnight Horror School" and "Gregory Horror Show"..... What am I saying? Basically you did a good job. Like it.

I havent seen that alien duck eposode... Really need to find out when that show's on now.
My favorite gag with Bev was one where Ed was saying that there was a fly in his milkshake and asked if he could have a fresh one for free.
Bev pulled out a flyswatter, swatted a fly on the counter, and said: "There's a fresh one right there." in an overly cheery voice.
