Watching Rose’s character development backwards was so interesting and cool! We got to see how she became the person we knew, how much she has changed and what she sacrificed. We learned she wasn’t perfect in the past and we questioned a lot of her decision (I’m still salty about Spinel) but nevertheless, Pink Diamond was a great character. 🌺🌹

🌺 I gave her lots of flowers, colours corresponding with colours of the rest of the diamonds. Blue hydrangea symbolises forgiveness, in Mexico yellow zinnia is a flower of death, white lily means rebirth and renewal and pink hibiscus symbolises all kinds of love.
🌺 Pink’s gem is not visible (as she has it on her stomach) so I gave her background golden detail for her high status.
🌺 In the show we see a lot of childish behaviour Pink shows - she’s bratty, impatient, demanding and throws a lot of tantrums. She is also, however, full of love, fun, she can be very sweet and is definitely very sensitive. I wanted to give her that child-like, cute face and her gesture to go with iconic “no one can know” quote, but more like a child caught in the act who regrets nothing and wants you to go along with it.
