Crystal smiled slightly as she hurried through the halls of Sumdac towers with papers to give to Isaac Sumdac himself.
"Crystal!" she heard before she was tackled from behind.
Thankfully she was able to keep her balance, only stumbling slightly, before she turned around.
"Sari," she chuckled gently, her voice soft as if she were in a library, "what have I told you about doing that?"
The redheaded girl simply smiled impishly at her and placed her hands on her hips.
"To only do it when you don't have anything and when no one is around to scold me for running." she said receiving another soft chuckle from Crystal.
"Right." she whispered, "Where are you headed to anyway?"
"Oh," Sari said, "I'm looking for Sparkplug he ran off somewhere and I was wondering if you've seen him."
Crystal gave Sari her usual sad smile, though her eyes did twinkle with slight amusement at the gift the professor gave his daughter was causing the girl more trouble than not from what she noticed.
"Sorry." she said apologetically, "If I do I'll let you know."
"Ok thanks!" the child said before she started running down the hall Crystal was heading.
"Oh and you're father's having a field trip in the tower!" Crystal called after the girl when she remembered.
"Got it!" Sari replied before she disappeared around the corner.
Crystal sighed softly, smile still present on her face, before she shook her head.
"Kids." she said softer than ever and then went to find Isaac Sumdac.
*time skip, two hours later*
"I swear Sari you need to talk to your father about this dog of yours." Crystal said smoothly as she and Sari ran after the surprisingly fast robot dog.
Between the time when Crystal last saw the girl and now, the robot dog had managed to get ahold of Sari's security key and was running away from the girls.
"I keep forgetting about it!" Sari panted, winded from their running.
They ran through the whole building until they somehow were lead outside.
"Gotcha!" Crystal cried, launching herself at the robot, grabbing it's back legs.
Instantly Sari grabbed the key and started pulling with Crystal's help.
"Bad dog." grunted Crystal as they struggled to get the key released.
'Why the hell did he make it so strong!?' Crystal thought as they played tug-a-war with the dog.
Thankfully Sparkplug let go when an armored green van pulled up close to them.
"Hello little creatures." said the car all of a sudden, stunning the two into silence as they gawked at the car, "are you lost? Did you lose your owner bot?"
Of coarse having a huge ass car pull right in front of you and start talking can lead to only one thing with girls like Sari and Crystal; both of them screaming in terror before Crystal snatched the girl into her arms and bolted away.
"I think it's scared." she faintly heard the voice say before she looked over her shoulder to see both the green van and a yellow one that looked like Captain Falzone's driving after them.
Sadly though when she looked back in front of her, she slammed into something, letting go of Sari right before whatever she slammed into wrapped around the raven head's waist and yanked her upwards.
Instantly Crystal let out a scream of terror as she tried to get out of whatever it was grip.
"Crystal!" she heard Sari scream before she heard the sound of metal hitting metal and gears turning not long after.
Only then, she finally looked down and saw four tall robots standing before the creature that held her.
"What the hell?" she breathed with shock.
