Oh my gosh! What a great drawing! And for such a strong scene, too! Wow! I feel all the emotion in this picture. Poor Danny. He was so young when his mother got killed, and trying to keep her memory alive when the one person who knew her best will barely speak of her has to be so hard for him.
I love how you captured everything in this picture. The blurry picture of Desiree is so emotional to look at. And then that look on Danny's face... wow. I really like how you drew Danny, by the way. There is this wonderful balance between realism and fantasy. It's perfect. You made him very handsome, and I like how white his hair is.
